Naturalia Sintesi, an ambitious Italian beauty product company with a corporate vision to launch their organisation in the UK, were looking for a London marketing agency to provide social media marketing and content marketing to raise awareness and interest in their brand.
Naturalia Sintesi is an Italian company which creates a range of quality products used by beauty professionals working at clinics and spas across the UK.
Well established in Italy, they wanted to launch in the UK as part of their overall strategy to develop the business into a brand with international appeal.
The UK management team appointed Abacus Marketing to provide social media marketing and content marketing in order to raise awareness and interest in the brand amongst beauty clinics and end-users across the UK, with a view to evolving a homecare range that would be sold directly from their website in the future.
Our social media plan involved daily postings on various social channels, with Instagram being the favoured medium for communication with consultants and customers. We connected with clinics which currently stocked the range, and cross-promoted their social content.
We ran promotions to encourage clinics to capture ‘before and after’ photos to show them using the treatment in real life scenarios, and rewarded them for supplying clinic and customer testimonials.
We offered beauty tips and hacks, created posts explaining how to get the most out of the product range, shared company news, promoted salon locations, and designed various branded templates to promote events, seasonal offers, customer testimonials and motivational messages.
Our content marketing plan involved the creation of a weekly blog article written by industry-specialist journalists who were able to deliver high quality content. We also developed a tongue in cheek diary concept that talked about life from the point of view of the end user, in the modus operandi of Bridget Jones.
We increased engagement with suspect customers through the use of hashtags and followed top industry influencers, sharing and commenting on their content to promote Naturalia Sintesi as a serious player with a desirable product range.
In the first three months of activity, we increased follower numbers on Instagram six-fold and improved total engagement by 70%.
